Achievement Night
When and Where
TBA
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted."
Isaiah 12:4
God blesses us each day with strength to achieve all
that we do. We think it is encouraging and appropriate
to take time to look back at what God has enabled us to
do over the past year. Achievement Night is the occasion
when our SHIELD family looks back together at the many
ways in which we have been blessed and celebrates all
the accomplishments of our school year. Below is a list
of some of the ways we do this!
Students Displays
Gather together all those wonderful projects your
students have done this year to show everyone. This is a
great way to remind teachers that they did do some fun
things this year. It’s also a great way to get some
ideas from others about what to do next year! Most
students get excited to show others what they have
created!
Recognition of Achievement
Students who register will receive Academic Achievement
awards for completing the school year. We give out
certificates for the Governor’s Reading award at this
time as well. We would also like to recognize any
special awards our students have earned. Just let us
know and we’ll share the joy!
Kindergarten Graduation
With kindergarten graduate parents helping to organize
this, we celebrate the completion of kindergarten with
the little ones!
Senior Graduation
Again, with the help of the graduates and parents, we
will dedicate a portion of our program to the deserved
recognition of our seniors!
We hope you will join us in recognizing the blessing of
God and the hard work of our students. We hope the
evening will remind each person of a reason to praise
God for His faithfulness. Mark the date on your
calendars now! Watch for details in the spring!
